Destination Marsanne
Village tempo

A village bursting with character.
Surrounded by ramparts and sculpted by its winding paved streets under the watchful eye of the Saint-Felix Church, Marsanne is a true treasure. And, to boot, home to traditional Provençal town houses, fortified gates and stunning glimpses across the valley.

Sun-bathed markets
To really experience the beating heart of Drôme Provençale, head into Marsanne, to the village square on a Friday or to Les Jardins du Papé on Mondays and Thursday evenings, and every third Thursday of the month during the summer season. Or why not explore the numerous other markets held in the surrounding villages? When December comes around, truffle lovers will even be able to get their hands on this precious black gold grown right here in this region. And, if you want to really push the boat out, head to a truffle producer, where you can carefully excavate this priceless treasure with your own hands.

On foot, by horse, or by bike.
On the road to Mirmande, the Fresneau Valley offers the chance for a walk in the shade up to the chapel and its miraculous spring. Other signposted walks are abound, and our pantouflards will be delighted to help you find the perfect fit for you. More into mountain biking? Then head to the terraces of Marsanne, the foothills of Valdaine or Mirmande via the Silk Weavers Trail… The local area is your oyster! And if you fancy exploring the Drôme on horseback, you can slip on your riding boots at the Berrys stables.
